    The HR Coordinator will work side-by-side with the HR Generalist and provide administrative and generalist support in the day-to-day functions of the corporate Human Resources Department while gaining exposure to various aspects of HR, including but not limited to recruiting, employee relations, benefit management, and compliance. Icon’s HR department is made up of an HR Director, HR Generalist and Talent Acquisition Specialist.

    Responsibilities

    1. Conduct phase 1 of the screening process for candidates in Icon’s Applicant Tracking System, iCIMS
      • Review resumes and evaluation responses for candidates in iCIMS
      • Send qualified applicants to the assigned Recruiters
      • Prepare offer letters to candidates
    2. On-Boarding and Off-Boarding Employees 
      • Office introductions
      • Drafting new hire announcements
      • Conduct stay interviews and exit interviews with employees
    3. Assist with onboarding of new hires
      • Process paperwork for background checks and drug screenings
      • Process new hires in HRIS, ADP 
      • Send new hires ADP information and ensures employees electronically sign and acknowledge policies/procedures
    4. Organizes and maintains electronic confidential personnel records, files, and data
    5. Misc. tasks
      • Assist HR Generalist with miscellaneous tasks including but not limited to:
        • Send mail to employees
        • Process unemployment requests
        • Process I-9 documents and E-Verify for new hires
        • Research policies/procedures using HR’s various resources such as SHRM, MRA, KellerOnline, etc.
    6. Foster a positive culture 
      • Assist HR Generalist with planning and preparing for company events such as summer picnic, volunteer opportunities, potlucks, et

    Qualifications

    • 1-2 years of previous administratic support experience in Human Resources
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a close team environment
    • Experience utilizing ADP is a plus
    • Experience utilizing ATS, iCIMS is a plus
    • Organized and efficient; strong attention to detail
    • Possesses flexibility and adaptability to shifting priorities
    • Above average verbal and written communications skills required.
    • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word and Excel
    • Able to stay positive and enthusiastic while managing multiple priorities
