Responsibilities

 

  1. Receive daily work schedule and travel to off-site locations in order to repair, inspect, troubleshoot, or clean signs and exterior lighting as noted on the work order at multiple sites for multiple customers.
  2. Must be presentable and possess the ability to speak with customers in order to build relationships and to communicate to them what is happening with their particular issue.
  3. Be thorough and accurate when filling out all paperwork pertaining to the specific job.
  4. Be responsible for maintaining your own equipment, inventory and vehicles.
  5. Be able to work overtime and/or on call as workload and emergency issues dictate.
  6. Be accountable for travel expenses and advances that will be given in order to travel and work in other areas.
  7. Follow all safety procedures at all times.
  8. Basic Computer Skills.
  9. Experience driving a bucket truck or similar vehicle.

Qualifications

Must have functioning peripheral equipment and capabilities to copy and/or scan and transmit documents via internet or via Fax. 

DOT Medical Card (All Field Technicians will undergo a DOT Physical as part of their onboarding process)

Electrical License may be required to meet state requirements. 

 

This position is based from your home and you will be assigned a 42-ft. bucket truck.  Perform other duties as assigned.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  This position is based outdoors in the field, and therefore, regular exposure to heat, cold rain, etc., will be normal. Position will require lifting tools, parts and equipment up to and including 80 pounds and rarely exceeding 100 + pounds.  Position will require standing, walking, bending, stooping, crawling, climbing stairs and ladders, working from heights, crouching, kneeling, balancing, manual dexterity, grasping, depth perception and visual acuity-both near and far.  Accommodations may be made for those with known disabilities.
